The Alexanderhoeve Texel, apartments with lots of space
Close to Den Hoorn, within walking distance of forest and sea, you can find ‘De Alexanderhoeve’. It is a farmhouse from 1848. Because of its typical silhouette, this type of farm is also called “the pyramid of Noord-Holland”. The farm houses two spacious and modern 8-person apartments, which can also be booked together as a group accommodation. You can recover from all the hustle and bustle in an ocean of peace, space and night-time darkness on Texel. Come and stroll through the nature reserves, and then end in one of the charming villages.
On the farmland of Texel
The Alexanderhoeve is in a quiet and rural location, at the end of the De Grie country road. From the first floor you have a round view of the farmland and the former Texel sea dikes. The twittering from the meadow birds sound like music in the background. The island offers endless routes to hike and cycle. The farm is situated along the route of the Noord-Holland path; a long-distance hiking trail along water, dunes and sheep.
The luxury apartments of Alexanderhoeve are suited as group accommodation for groups up to 16 people. Two 8-person apartments have been built in the farmhouse and can be shared if required. The apartments are separated by a large common interior space.
We & De Grie
Jan Bakker (farmer) and Wilma Pieters (designer and coach) are the owners of ‘De Alexanderhoeve’. The farm has been owned by Jan’s family since 1919. It was the first farm in 1848 in the Prins Hendrik polder on Texel.
